Final Major project... Bristol Zoo

Redesign the logo of Bristol Zoo:
Staff uniform bright and colour coded with the map and signage, this is for visitors to recognise what staff works in what area of the zoo.

With this project i thought about redesigning the identity of Bristol Zoo, i found that with the existing logo it doesn't really appeal to children and my idea was to design something that is child friendly and much appealing to look at. Bold bright colours and friendly drawn animals. simple and easy to look at.

Typography Project...

Back of the Postcard:
Front of the Postcard:Poster:
This typography project was based on designing a poster and postcard, using a type face that interested me. I chose Futura as its a typeface that gets used a lot. When researching about the typeface i found it was created around the same time as the Bauhaus, but as many people would say it was a typeface based on the Bauhaus, it isn't and i chose to use the Bauhaus colours but i also chose to use other art theories around the time Futura was designed and my poster and postcard have been designed based on constructivism and Bauhaus.

Mini Magazine.....

The final version to the editorial project, I really like how the blueprints turned out after i experimented with creasing them to make them look more realistic.
I followed the theme onto the front cover as a lot of design magazines tend to use images related to the main articles about an artist or a design. So instead of using the same image i created another blueprint but using the badges of the Mini's.

Editorial Project

My initial ideas behind this design, was to create an editorial two page spread and magazine wrap. I chose to create my magazine on the design and development of the Mini.
I wanted to show the design of the old style Mini and the development of the new style Mini. I thought that drawing up both Mini's in the style of Blueprints simple line drawings.
